Guests gathered for a private event at Hinchcliff House

Private Celebrations Across The House

From cocktails and canapes to a seated dinner, Hinchcliff House gives celebrations a polished Sydney setting.

Our private-event spaces are built for evenings that move naturally from arrival drinks to dinner. Guests can gather above Young Street, settle into the house, and enjoy the same food and service that define Grana and the wider Hinchcliff House experience.

For weddings, work dinners, and milestone celebrations, the draw is simple: warm coordination, generous hospitality, and rooms with real heritage character.

A Wool Store With A Dining Room Pulse

The house carries Circular Quay history through stone, timber, arched windows, and restored warehouse detail.

Hinchcliff House takes its name from Andrew Hinchcliff, whose wool store once stood at the centre of Sydney's shipping trade. The building's stonework, timber frame, and restored details now frame a modern dining house.

We keep that history close while making the experience practical for today: lunch, dinner, cocktails, coffee, and private events across four levels.

Cocktails Before Dinner In The Basement

Apollonia brings a darker, lower-lit mood to the house for pre-dinner drinks and late evenings.

Begin downstairs when the night calls for a cocktail before dinner. Apollonia's basement setting gives the house its low-lit bar note, with service that suits both a quick drink and a longer evening.

Move from the bar to the table, or keep the night underground with the pace and polish of a Sydney CBD drinking room.
